Dr. Claire Hacker, DVM
Dr. Claire is a long-time resident of Wilson County and graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1998. She is a 2002 graduate of University of Tennessee - Knoxville with a B.S. in Agriculture (Animal Science) and a 2006 graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Go Vols and War Eagle!
She and her husband David reside in Mt. Juliet with their two sons Tripp and Greer, two dogs Liza and Doc, two cats Fergie and Izzy, and a horse, Critter. David is a sergeant with the Metro-Nashville Police Department’s canine unit.
Dr. Claire has worked in Wilson County as a veterinarian since graduating in 2006 and before that as a veterinary assistant while in college and vet school. Her interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, internal medicine, and dentistry. She loves being involved in maintaining the human-animal bond for pets and their owners.
Outside of being a veterinarian she enjoys spending time doing anything with her boys, traveling, sports, barrel racing with her horse when she can, and watching The Bachelor / Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars.
